I like leftovers. Sometimes I refer to them as Planned-Overs. Well, The Cured Ham has several of both from the last couple of months. These take the form of shorter articles, pictures, and passing thoughts. I'll be posting a lot of these to the Bacon Bits companion site over the 4th of July weekend.
I've got stuff like Julian Serrano tapas, X20 in Yonkers, Stumptown Brewery ribs, American Craft Gin, Thai in Seattle, Farmer's Market finds, about as random as it gets. Each deserves more attention for sure, but I just can't get to it all. And sometimes, I'm having too much fun at some of these places to even write of full review. Heaven forbid I actual pay attention to the person in front of me!
I can assure you I've got a full review of Chiaroscuro in San Francisco nearly written, a nearly complete review of about 8 taco shops around Healdsburg, a few Seattle, Houston, and Mobile restaurants, and Ame in San Francisco (which I was dying to go back to). Not to mention the wine I've been drinking.
I hope everyone has a great 4th of July holiday. How about that mailbox?!
